Shelburne Veterinary Hospital

Surgery

Surgery

Surgery is often the most effective way to treat many serious injuries and disorders. Our hospital provides a full range of surgical services including:

  • Spaying and neutering
  • Dental cleaning and tooth extraction
  • Mass removals
  • Fracture repair
  • Repair of lacerations and bite wounds

We offer the services of a board-certified surgeon for more complex procedures.

Patient safety and comfort is our main priority.  We utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide pain management during and after all surgical procedures, and we offer age-appropriate screening prior to procedures to provide an extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high-risk patients.

Our veterinary team will walk you through the entire process, giving you the tools to make informed decisions regarding your pet’s treatment options. We understand that surgery is a stressful time for any owner, and we’re available every step of the way to answer questions and put your mind at ease.

If you are considering veterinary surgery for your pet, please contact Shelburne Veterinary Hospital to schedule an introductory consultation. On the day of surgery, we ask that you drop off your pet between 8-9 a.m. and we will call you when your pet is ready to be picked up. We are requiring a deposit at the time your pet’s surgical appointment is made. Please contact us to schedule your appointment today.
