When Was The Last Time Your Pet Saw The Vet?

If it was over a year ago (or you can’t remember!) you might want to consider making an appointment for a wellness exam and testing soon.

At Shelburne Veterinary Hospital we’re big on wellness and preventive care. Why? Because we know firsthand that routine veterinary care will not only help your pet stay healthy but will also save you money in the long run.

Pets age much faster than we do, so that means illness and disease progress much faster, too. With regular exams, we can catch things early before they become bigger problems and treatment is usually much more effective.

With our wellness exams, your pet gets a thorough, nose-to-tail look from our vet including checking their teeth and mouth. Wellness exams should also involve basic blood work, fecal and SNAP testing for parasites. Vaccinations are usually part of those annual visits, and it’s a great time to ask any questions you may have about your pet’s health or behavior as well.

If it’s been a while since you pet saw the vet, you’re in luck! During October 2021, we are offering 20% off our Early Detection Screening Package for dogs and cats, which includes exam, dental consult, blood work, electrocardiogram (ECG), and fecal/SNAP parasite testing.

Appointments must be scheduled for the month of October 2021, so spots will fill up fast—make an appointment online or call us at (802) 448-5087.
