Vet assistants are responsible for working as part of the SVH team, assisting technicians in appointments, completing diagnostics and treatments as directed by our veterinarians, as well as filling prescriptions and maintaining a clean and sanitary hospital. 

A successful candidate will have strong communication and customer service skills, enjoy working in a fast-paced team atmosphere and have a desire to provide thorough and compassionate care to our patients, upholding the mission of the hospital each day.  

A minimum of 1 year of veterinary assistant experience is required. Rotating Saturdays required.  Full-time or part-time shifts considered.  SVH prioritizes advancement of our staff and offers a competitive compensation package.
